North Albemarle Baptist Church, a growing healthy church located in Stanly County, NC, is seeking to hire a part-time Worship Leader. As an active member of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), we believe in regularly gathering in the form of corporate worship. As part of our worship, we incorporate theologically sound contemporary music into our weekly service. The Worship Leader will provide strong leadership through musical talents, passion, and creativity.  This position seeks someone who would like to grow and learn with our church with the potential to become an associate of the pastorship. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Communicating effectively with the Lead Pastor and his designees

  • Selecting weekly and special music (Special music may include Easter, Christmas, etc.)

  • Managing the Worship Team and organizing weekly Sunday scheduling and practice times

  • Introducing new music to the Worship Team and Congregation

  • Organizing Planning Center and Proclaim weekly contents

  • Maintaining instruments

  • Managing yearly music budget
